Fall Festival

KPCA’s fourth neighborhood-wide Block Party and Fall Festival is sponsored by Linda Chaletzky of Evers & Co. Real Estate, Inc. Join us Sunday, November 3, 2 – 5 pm for drinks, food, and entertainment in the 6100 block of Shady Oak. Everyone is encouraged to come in costume and participate in costume contests. A moonbounce and games will be set up for younger ones to allow plenty of socializing for the adults.

Lasagna , hot dogs and cider will be provided and neighbors are asked to bring salads, side dishes (no chips) and desserts to contribute potluck style. Adults BYOB. Please Elizabeth Haile info@kpcaonline.org if you are interested in helping set up, volunteering, or to get more information.

Front Yard Fridays

Each Friday during the summer a different neighbor hosts a gathering in their frontyard.  It’s a chance to stop by and visit with friends, meet new neighbors, and welcome the weekend together.  Hosts provide drinks, snacks and chairs, guests are welcome  to bring adult drinks and snacks.  No need to RSVP.  Just come for the laidback fun.

July 4th Bike Parade and Party

Kenwood Park is looking forward to our 9th Annual Kenwood Park Independence Day parade and celebration. This is one of Kenwood Park’s big community events and we are looking for volunteers to help make it happen.

Decorations and treats are provided for the bikers,  walkers and pooches.  Our local volunteer fire department truck is contacted and music is provided by a generous neighbor. Festivities take place at 10:00 am at Marbury Court.

Back to School Ice Cream Social

KPCA and Friends of Maiden Lane Park present the fourth annual Back to School Ice Cream Social, Sunday, September 1, 2019, 6:30 p.m. Join your neighbors for free ice cream, followed by a movie at 7:30. Bring your own picnic dinner. Say hi to old friends and meet some new neighbors. At Maiden Lane Park, on Maiden Lane between Marbury, Plainview and Oldchester.
